Pro Link GPS Yardage System
All 75 of the golf carts that Woodland Hills Golf Course owns will have the new GPS yardage system on them. We feel that this is going to be a great feature that only Woodland Hills Golf Course will have. They will have great advantages for the golfer giving him/her the ability to know how far it is to the front of the green, the back of the green, the flag, any hazard, or any other point on the golf course. Also, the golfer will have the ability to send and receive messages to the clubhouse being emergency help or assistance or slow play information. The golfer will be able to tell if he/she is ahead or behind the pace of play of the golfers on the course. This is one of the features that will help everyone on the course, speeding up play. All of the 30 or more golf courses PRO LINK has been installed on have increase their speed of play by more than 20 minutes per round on busy days. The clubhouse will have the ability to monitor the speed of play of all the golf carts on the course as well as their location. This will help if some group starts to get behind and also, God forbid, if we are on cart paths only the clubhouse staff will know if anyone is off the path damaging the golf course for the rest of us.
