A rules trivia question. I have hit my ball into a lateral hazard (red stakes or lines). I don't want to use option 1; rehitting from the original spot - option 2; hitting the ball out of the hazard - option 3; taking 2 club lengths from the place the ball crossed the margin of the hazard no nearer the hole or option 4; keeping the point the ball crossed the margin of the hazard between me and the pin and going back as far as I want. What is my last option?
Congratulations to Jesse Gloystein of Lincoln for correctly identifying Craig Stadler (aka "the Walrus") as the golfer penalized for putting a towel under his knees as he knealt under a tree to "create" a stance. Jesse will receive a certificate for a free round of golf and cart at Woodland HIlls Golf Course.
